Took my friend Ezra up in the airplane just to do some late morning bug smashing before grabbing brunch with the wives. We did a touch-and-go at Ross County airport pictured here:

It’s in the middle of Ohio farmland but as soon as you get any elevation, you can see the Hocking Hills off to the south east. Speaking of farmland…..

This is Deer Creek on the way back to Columbus.

We’re probably five miles to the south-east of the state park from this vantage point, somewhere around 2,500′ above ground level.

Here’s a shot I got of the Lake Darby and Westpoint communities. They are
